Throw Blanket Sizes: US, UK and EU Size Chart
The standard retail throw blanket is 50 × 60 in (127 × 152 cm) in the US, 130 × 170 cm or 130 × 180 cm in the UK, and 130 × 170 cm in Germany and much of the EU. The common large throw is 150 × 200 cm in the UK and EU and 60 × 80 in (152 × 203 cm) in the US. Fabric use grows with area: a 150 × 200 cm throw needs about 55% more face fabric than a 127 × 152 cm throw at the same GSM.
